AllProfit HR Turns 5
Someone hang the streamers, bring out the cake, light the candle, and clap with us. Actually, can someone pinch me? It is still hard to believe that I leaped into entrepreneurship five years ago.
Has the experience been seamless, easy, or filled with doubtful days? No. But it has been a highly fulfilling journey of thought leadership, self-discovery, authorship, strengths, vision, and an intentional contribution toward economic development in Prince George's County, Md.
To celebrate our fifth anniversary, AllProfitHR is hosting our first event, a Minority Business Summit, on Sunday, March 26, 2023, in Fort Washington, MD. We are hosting our Minority Business Summit at the offices of The Home Team Realty Group featured in Because Of Them We Can.
I knew this conference was divine when my team and I discussed where we would host this monumental event. We came across the BOTWC post about the first Black-Owned Professional Business Park in Prince George's County, Maryland. Working with The Home Team Realty's co-owner, Jarriel Jordan, Sr., has been great. I appreciate that our companies are aligned in many ways; it is a solid collaborative initiative. And, as minority business enterprises, we should all consider cultivating intentional ways to work, partner, and support one another because there is strength in numbers.

Setting Intentions
When I envisioned AllProfitHR over five years ago, my mission was clear: "Help organizations experience transformational people and culture systems to create a culture of belonging." As a People and Culture Architect, I value this work and can acquire new energy levels when interacting with others. So, in perfect alignment, I want to honor this fifth business anniversary by creating a safe space to engage with other like-minded individuals - specifically, minority business owners.
The Minority Business Summit is designed to provide real-world applications for current and aspiring business owners. Through timely conversations, group discussions, and interactive exercises, participants will learn proven techniques for cultivating a sustainable, agile, and JEDI-informed workplace culture. The Summit is ideal for aspiring, new, and seasoned entrepreneurs and solopreneurs. We are offering a limited early bird discount until Friday, February 2, 2023.
